Description

Application: 0.1 % DEPC over night under agitation. Autoclave.

Histidin residues in proteins are modified to N-carbethoxy histidin, resulting in inhibition of RNases and DNases. DEPC decomposes to CO2 and ethanol during steam sterilisation.
